‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the Center of Bahá’u’lláh’s Covenant and the Perfect Exemplar for humankind, is unique in religious history. This year, Bahá’ís and friends around the world commemorate the 100th anniversary of the passing of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. Some glimpses from the state of Assam have been shared in this thread.
A gathering took place in Tamulpur neighbourhood, to commemorate the centennial of ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The participants of the gathering discussed about life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and stories were told by friends. It was a very insightful and joyful gathering.
The families observed the ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá at their homes. Friends of the same neighbourhood gathered together and offered prayers in union.
At regional level, the state of Assam commemorated the centenary through virtual mode.
Bhergaon neighbourhood commemorated the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. Several groups of friends gathered and joined from nearby neighbourhoods and villages. Friends reflected on the life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and His enlightening stories were shared by friends to get insights from them.
