A youth from Bhubaneswar started an Instagram Page (Art inspired by Baha’i Faith) and in commemoration of the Centenary, wrote a poem, to create awareness about the Master.
The exponent of Social Justice,
Most Mighty Branch of the Sadratu’l-Muntahá.
Champion of Nobility and Prestige,
He was ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
The Perfect Exemplar of all Faiths,
For every Past Dispensation, He was a Meta.
For whose wisdom, humanity doted their wait;
He was ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
As Christ was born Son of God to this world,
Likewise, he was begotten of Baha’u’llah.
Hence the Glory of God let his Mystery unfurl –
He was ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
The Absolute Demonstrator of Baha’i ideals,
The Last Protagonist of this Age’s Divine Drama.
The world will learn more of his counsels and appeals,
Such was our ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.
Friends from Bhubaneswar organised an exhibition to commemorate the centenary of the ascension of the beloved Master. Various dignitaries, representatives of different religious communities, government officials, members of civil society and students along with the Baha’i friends gathered at the opening ceremony.
The programme began with a round of prayers, followed by sharing of Holy Writings, which left an impact on the hearts and souls of friends gathered therein. A book stall was also put up for the friends to read the available material and explore more about the faith, significance of centenary and life of the beloved Master.
