    Drawing Event on theme “Service to Man is Service to God”

    To commemorate the centenary of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Satara community had organized a drawing event on theme “Service to Man is service to God”.

    They learnt about one of the most important qualities ‘Abdu’l-Bahá possessed i.e. service and how happy he would be if the junior youths followed the same.

    This activity was conducted in the neighborhood of Satara i.e. wadhe, lilatai and triputi. The junior youths made posters depicting the theme “Service”. The posters were also carried back home so the junior youths could brief their parents about the same. During the event, stories on ‘Abdu’l-Bahá were shared by the junior youths.

    This artistic activity was done by the Junior Youths of Satara community for the centenary of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s passing. Some beautiful bookmarks were made by them on the quotations and prayers  of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

    A visit to Doctors, Nurses, Patients of the Government Hospital and the Elderly of Old-Age Home

    To commemorate the centenary of the Ascension of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, The Baha’i community of Satara visited the admitted patients of 5 wards of government civil hospital and distributed packages of fruits and eatables to 200 admitted patients. They engaged in meaningful conversations with the staff – doctors and nurses.

    Also, the community visited home for the aged people and 30 elderly people were gathered. They listened to the message of Baha’u’llah and received the protection tablet and books on ‘Abdu’l-Bahá along with fruits, eatables and clothes.
